What does a Selector DO?
Put your energy and intelligence to work, keeping our multibillion
dollar operation moving, and making a real difference. In addition to
working individually selecting full case grocery/perishable/frozen items
from a warehouse pick slot, you'll also be responsible for:
- Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety
standards.
- Use a headset or pick sheet to find individual items within warehouse
- Remove full case(s) of product from storage rack and place on pallet
- In some cases, affix selection labels to the appropriate cases
- Maneuver pallet on an electric pallet jack until full or order is
complete
- Ensure item pick accuracy and safety of product to prevent damage
- Inform supervisor of any discrepancies in case quantity and/or product
description
- Manually wrap the pallet by circling load with roll of plastic wrap
until secure
Requirements:
The driven candidate we desire should have:
- 7 months of warehouse experience
- Pallet Jack experience
- Ability to work the afternoon shift and overtime is required
- GED or High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in grocery selection preferred
- Prefer candidates with experience in voice selection systems
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
